I’m glad you stopped by to check out Emmanuel’s website, and I pray that what you find here is not just informative, but also edifying and uplifting.
I was ordained in 2005 after working in Legal Publishing and Information Technology. I had ignored the feeling that God was leading me into the ministry, but God used some special people to encourage me to become a Lutheran pastor. It has now been ten years, and I wouldn’t change a minute of it – I love my people and there’s nothing better than telling people that Jesus died for them and loves them in a way that is unfathomable.
I’ve been blessed to serve as Emmanuel’s pastor since February 2009 when I accepted the call that brought me to Lake View from my first congregations in Ormsby, Minnesota. I’m sure that you’ll find Emmanuel as welcoming and loving as I have, and we would love for you to join us for worship, Bible Study, or just a chat.
I am always available (well, almost), so whether you are member of Emmanuel, a guest, a new resident to Lake View, a longtime Lutheran, or just interested in what Lutherans believe and teach, feel free to contact me via your favorite method.
Most of all, I pray that you know and believe that Jesus died for you. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done in the past or how long you’ve been away from church, He is always ready to put His nail pierced hands around you.
